How we work
Approach
We craft interactive content, physical design and technology into one seamless piece of work. We believe this holistic approach is essential to create relevant, user-centred solutions that communicate a clear message. We do the thinking and the tinkering.
A project typically starts with research and insight generation, then concept development, prototyping and finally installation. We advise on maintenance and staff training, too, because we know that it’s the details on the ground that make the difference. Spotspot likes to measure success both by the number of clicks and the number of smiles.
Skills & People
We are at the forefront of interactivity in retail and public environments, so we make sure our team can provide key skills in-house and through close collaborations. We cover skills as diverse as strategy, art direction and copywriting, business analysis, industrial and furniture design, experience and interaction design, interactive media and electronic engineering.
Tobi Schneidler, founder of Spotspot, is a trained architect and has been working with interactive media installations in academic, art and commercial contexts since the year 2000. Solon Sasson is a business analyst and strategist. Tom Ballhatchet is a furniture designer and design engineer and Andy Furner covers production and electronic development.
