Lattice archipelogics
Lattice Archipelogics is an ambient light cloud, playing with visitors movements around a physical array of illuminated modules. Its own artificial intelligence triggers behaviours in response to people’s actions, creating a subtle but curious relationship between man and machine.
Lattice Archipelogics was originally commissioned for the Latent Utopias show in Graz, curated by Zaha Hadid. The installation went on to the Centre Pompidou and was subsequently acquired by the SFMoMA as part of their permanent collection.
The project was a collaboration with SERVO architects and the Smart Studio Interactive Institute.
